Koppers Inc., a subsidiary of Koppers Holdings Inc., reached an agreement for the sale and transfer of property and buildings at its wood preserving facility in Gainesville, Fla., to Beazer East Inc.
Koppers said it remains committed to the utility pole business and will serve its customers in the Southeast from its Florence, S.C., wood treating plant. Terms were not disclosed.
