Kozer has no apologies for bondage flicks
"Joe Millionaire" finalist Sarah Kozer said Thursday she has no regrets about appearing in kinky foot-fetish and bondage flicks.
"I'll stand by anything I have ever done," the 1992 Hempfield Area High School graduate told the New York Daily News in an interview from her Los Angeles home.
"My checkpoint living in L.A. as a young woman for the last few years has been ... I would never do anything that I wouldn't call and tell my mother about."
Kozer, 29, is one of three finalists left on the Fox reality series, in which hardhat hunk Evan Marriott pretends to be a $50 million man looking for love.
Though the network lists Kozer's occupation as "sales and design," it was revealed this week that she also paid the bills by appearing in dozens of short movies produced by a soft-porn outlet.
Under the pseudonym Cindy Schubert, Kozer played a bound-and-gagged cheerleader and a flirtatious foot maiden in videos such as "Hogtied!" and "Dirty-Soled Dolls."
Kozer said she wasn't roped into the roles — she auditioned for them after she quit law school and was saddled with huge loans while studying real estate.
"I just thought it was silly," she said.
"It was a completely professional environment," she said. "It was completely not of a sexual nature. No nudity. Nothing."
Kozer, who is clothed in all the videos, said that — coming from a small town in Pennsylvania — she didn't realize her vignettes would be packaged and promoted with more explicit shots of other actresses.
"That's one of the things I probably should have looked into a little more," she said. "I was kind of surprised to see that."
While her father, Fred, told the Daily News he didn't know about the videos, Kozer said her mother, Fay, was aware of her foray into the fetish world.
"Perhaps my mother was as naive as I was because we just thought it was silly," she said. "The pictures — they're ridiculous."
Kozer said she was paid union scale wages for the shoots, but wouldn't be more specific.
"To get paid a higher rate, you had to do things I didn't want to do," she said.
She said she's had lucrative offers to pose nude but turned them down — and has no plans to do any more fetish work.
Instead, she's trying to capitalize on her "Joe Millionaire" fame by writing a novel and peddling a proposal for a cookbook and cooking show.
Asked what Marriott would have thought about her naughty scenarios, Kozer pointed out that he once posed in skimpy swimsuits and underwear for a racy catalogue.
"I think he would probably give you a similar story based on his modeling pictures," she said with a laugh.
"When you're in this town, it's an industry where there are a lot of opportunities."
