The Ligonier Volunteer Hose Co. No. 1, in partnership with The Creamery in Ligonier, will conduct the Ligonier Melt Down on the Diamond 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.

The community ice cream social will offer ice cream and picnic food to purchase.

Contemporary and antique fire equipment and engines will be on display along with local antique cars around the Diamond.

Musical entertainment, sponsored by The Creamery, will be provided by Old 97Band and the Johnny Cash Tribute Show Band.

“This is a great way to help the Ligonier fire company,” said owner David Gehlman. “The whole community can help by working together.”
