ABC's smash hit series "Lost" won the Golden Globe Award for best dramatic television series Monday night.

"Lost" beat HBO's "Rome," Fox TV's "Prison Break," and ABC's "Commander in Chief" and "Grey's Anatomy" for the top TV prize.

Creator J.J. Abrams called the win "surreal" and thanked the Hollywood Foreign Press for the award as well as "the open bar."

"This show is an exercise in faith," he said as he thanked its fans and viewers for "having faith in us."
