"Malcolm in the Middle" star Frankie Muniz has asked his girlfriend to marry him, it was reported Sunday.
People magazine says Muniz, 19, proposed to his girlfriend and she accepted.
The actor's fiancee is not involved in Hollywood, his publicist said in declining to give her name.
Publicist Cara Tripicchio told People the couple the met when Muniz was in New Orleans filming the horror flick, "Stay Alive."
No date has been set for a wedding, she added.
"Malcolm in the Middle" begins its seventh season on FOX TV this fall.
