Man arrested in Marshall-Shadeland barbershop killing
One man has been arrested and a warrant has been issued for a second accused of shooting and killing a man inside his barbershop late Saturday afternoon in Marshall-Shadeland, city Public Safety Department spokeswoman Sonya Toler said.
Javahn Devonte Griffin, 22, was arrested by city homicide detectives Wednesday evening for the slaying of Lamar Eric Thomas, 44, who was gunned down during a robbery attempt inside his barbershop on Stayton Street, Toler said. Thomas died of a gunshot wound to the head, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office said.
A warrant has been issued for Keith Payne, 19, Toler said. The addresses of Payne and Griffin were not immediately available.
Both are charged with homicide, robbery and conspiracy.
