Man charged in fatal shooting in McKees Rocks

A man surrendered to Allegheny County Police on Monday to face charges of shooting and killing a man in McKees Rocks.

Trevon Kendrick, who turned 21 on Saturday, is charged with homicide, conspiracy and weapons violations for the slaying of Orlando Ferguson on Wednesday, county police Lt. Andrew Schurman said.

Ferguson, 20, of McKees Rocks, was shot outside the Uansa Village housing complex on Robb Street.

Kendrick, whose address was not available, remains in the Allegheny County Jail to await a preliminary hearing scheduled March 7.
