Man fatally shot in chest near Homewood bar
A Homewood man was fatally shot early Thursday outside a bar, Pittsburgh police said.
Charles Speaks, 37, died at the scene from a gunshot wound to the chest. Officers responded at 12:47 a.m. to the Phase Bar in the 7300 block of Hamilton Avenue.
No arrests have been made and no motive has been determined, police said.
Homicide detectives ask anyone with information to call 412-323-7161. Callers can remain anonymous.
