Man is shot twice at his Clairton home

A man was shot twice while answering a door Saturday morning in the 300 block of St. Clair Avenue in Clairton.

News exchange partner WPXI-11 reported that homicide detectives are investigating the shooting, which happened around 1:45 a.m.

The victim reportedly was shot in his chest and side, and transported to UPMC Mercy.
