A man robbed a pharmacy Thursday night in Squirrel Hill, police said.

The robber, described as a black man in his 40s, stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the CVS on Wilkins Avenue about 8:30 p.m. Public Safety spokeswoman Sonya Toler said.

He kept both hands in his pockets during the robbery as if he had a gun, but he did not show a weapon.

The man was about 6 feet 1 inch tall and wore a black jacket and white hooded sweatshirt.

Police urged anyone with information on the robbery to call 911.
