Man seriously injured in Beaver County after fall from roof

A man was seriously injured Sunday while working to demolish a building in Beaver County, according to emergency dispatchers.

The man, whose identity was not released, was preparing a two-story building on Seventh Avenue in Beaver Falls for demolition when he fell from the roof about 1 p.m.

He was flown by medical helicopter to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian Hospital.
