A Ross man will spend a year on house arrest, his punishment for ramming his vehicle into a car full of U.S. marshals who were trying to arrest him.

Gary Stephany, 45, had multiple outstanding warrants when marshals tried to arrest him, federal prosecutors said. He was sentenced to five years of probation and must pay $3,391 in restitution.

Nobody was hurt in the collision.
