The suspect went into the Sunoco at 1728 Oakland Ave. shortly after 4 a.m. and demanded money, authorities said.
The male suspect is black, in his 30s and about 5 feet, seven inches tall, police said. He weighs about 200 pounds, was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, sweatpants and had a blue bandana over his face during the holdup.
Police didn't say if he got any money.
