Manor officials are seeking the release of a $174,000 line of credit so the borough can complete infrastructure in the The Woods of Brandywine housing plan.

Borough officials are trying to move on to finish roads, storm-water management facilities, landscaping, fencing and other aspects of the plan after accusing North Huntingdon-based Jana Development of being in default of a developer's agreement.

Jana, which owns about 26 undeveloped acres in the Brandywine plan, sought relief last year through bankruptcy, but a federal judge dismissed the case in June because the company hadn't filed a reorganization plan.

Council last week authorized solicitor John Campfield to give Jana a written notice of default.

AmeriServ Financial issued the line of credit to ensure the completion of various infrastructure, according to court records.

Jana's president, Richard Territ, declined to comment.
