Couples applying to Allegheny County for a marriage license can now cut their wait time at the records office by applying online, officials said last week.
Marriage applications can now be filled out online at alleghenycounty.us/wo/plan.aspx before both applicants come with photo IDs to the Marriage License Bureau on the first floor of the City-County Building to complete the application process. Filling out the form online can cut out two-thirds the time spent at the license office, according to officials from the Allegheny County Department of Court Records.
Copies of marriage records can also be searched and ordered online with a credit or debit card on the website , or by calling 412-350-4232.
