Indiana University of Pennsylvania will offer its Master in Education Program at the Armstrong Campus beginning with the fall 2005 semester at its new facility to open at Northpointe Technology Park off the Slate Lick, Exit 18, of Route 28.

Valeri Helterbran of the IUP Department of Professional Studies in Education said the 36-credit program can be completed in two years and is designed for kindergarten through 12th grade teachers holding an Instructional I or II certificate. Helterbran said the program is not a duplication of undergraduate course work.

Students will enroll in one, six-credit-hour course in the fall, spring and summer semesters. During the fall and spring semesters classes will be held on Wednesday evenings and during the summer semester classes will be held two nights a week.

Information sessions will be held at the IUP Armstrong Campus, 704 North McKean St., Kittanning at 5 p.m. March 30 and April 20. For more information call 1-800-845-0131 or visit www.iup.edu/graduate.
