After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in psychology, Lynn Belice, 33 of Monroeville, came back to Oakland to bartend. She’s been a familiar face behind the bar at Hemingway’s Cafe for six years. What is it like to bartend in the middle of a college campus?

It’s really fun. It’s really easy, the clientele’s real laid back. They’re used to it being crowded, so they’re pretty patient. With all the young people coming to the bar, do you get hit on?

We get a lot of notes, so they don’t have to talk to me. They’ll leave their name and number on a napkin or piece of paper. Someday I’ll write a book about the pick-up lines and all the stuff they say when they’re drunk. People write crazy stuff when they’re drunk. What kind of drinkers are your patrons• Do they prefer beer or mixed drinks?

I’m always serving beer and shots. Probably 70 percent are beer drinkers, 30 percent cocktails, and a lot of shots. Bombs are the big thing right now, especially Jagar bombs and The Cunha drink. What is The Cunha drink?

It’s kind of like a punch. We used to make a shot like that, then I got Red Bull crazy, and put it in everything. People always say “make me something.” So I made this drink for one of the guys. He really liked it and gets it all the time, and now his friends all come in and ask for it. We’re currently looking for a name for it. We just refer to it by the guy’s last name. What would a person be most surprised to learn about you?

My age. No one ever believes me. I always have to pull out my drivers license. Sometimes we make bets on it. I make some money on it. Additional Information:

1 oz. lemon-flavored vodka 1 oz. orange-flavored vodka 1 oz. strawberry-flavored vodka 1 oz. watermelon-flavored vodka 1 oz. peach-flavored vodka 1 oz. apple-flavored vodka 1 oz. raspberry-flavored vodka Red Bull splash of pineapple, cranberry and orange juice

Shake all liqueur in a shaker with ice. Pour into a 16 oz. pint glass filled with ice and top off with Red Bull and a splash of each type of juice. Serve with a candy necklace.
