ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP -...Mia Bella Donna, which specializes in wedding gowns, formal wear and accessories, has opened at 1743 Rostraver Road, in the Sweeney Plaza in Rostraver Township.
"There is nothing like this in Rostraver Township," owner Tracey Stimaker said. "While weddings are our specialty, we also carry gowns for many other occasions, such as proms, pageants and dances. We also carry mother-of-the-bride dresses and gowns for the bridesmaids."
She said the store carries quality designed by Alfred Angelo, Jessica McClintock and Jordan's by Bill Pesce.
Her mother, Patty Stimaker, manages the shop. The owner's sister, Jefferi Amatangelo, serves as a wedding consultant, and her niece, Mia Amatangelo, works as an in-store model and style consultant.
"Buying a wedding gown is a big decision. It's not something you want to do without exploring the alternatives," Tracey Stimaker said. "I've personally planned three weddings for my own family and think my experience will help our clients."
Stimaker said she and her staff are eager to help clients.
"If you've seen a gown somewhere, or a picture of a gown, come in and see us," Jefferi Amatangelo said. "There's a good chance that we can get it for you at a great price and without paying shipping charges. We also do our own alterations."
In addition to gowns, the shop carries women's business clothing, jewelry, purses, briefcases, wedding accessories and wedding-party gifts. The staff can help clients order invitations.
"Come in for a consultation and give us a chance to be a part of your special day," Tracey Stimaker said. "We offer personalized service and we'll do whatever is necessary to help make your day a success."
Mia Bella Donna is open noon to 6 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, noon to 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and by appointment on Sundays. Layaways and gift certificates are available and major credit cards are accepted. The telephone number is (724) 929-4090.
