Mock trial team wins state competition

A mock trial team from Greensburg Salem High School took the state title Saturday in a competition sponsored by the Pennsylvania Bar Association. The students defeated a team from Devon Prep High School in Chester County. They will compete nationally May 10 and 11 in Omaha, Neb. The state competition was held in Carlisle. The team members are: Nicole Love, Patrick Martin, Andrew and Megan Nogasky, Haley Saba, Dan Rotigel, Scott Vrable and Chris Marsh. Their adviser is teacher Judith Washburn. Retired judge Richard McCormick served as the team’s law adviser.
