Model skips bathing suit calendar for fur

Howard Stern's girlfriend, Beth Ostrosky, has eschewed her annual swimsuit calendar for fur -- a 2006 fundraising calendar to help homeless animals. Ostrosky, 33, appears with a variety of cuddly critters in the calendar for North Shore Animal League, the New York Daily News reported Thursday. The calendar is $12.95 via www.nsalamerica.org, with all its proceeds going to the league's Hurricane Gulf Coast Animal Rescue Fund. Of course, Ostrosky couldn't plug the calendar without being asked if Santa Stern left an engagement ring in her stocking. "Well, Howard ... is going to address that on his show," she said. "But things are going just lovely on my end." Stern's new show debuts on Sirius Satellite Radio Jan. 9. © Copyright 2005 by United Press International
