Mon Valley academy seeks 'Summer' students
The Mon Valley Performing Arts Academy is accepting students for its 2012 "Summer Experience."
The two-week musical-theater intensive is open to students between the ages of 8 and 17 and is in Steele Hall on the campus of California University of Pennsylvania.
From July 16 to 28, students will take classes in acting, voice and dance each morning and rehearse a fully staged musical every afternoon.
The academy culminates with a performance of "Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr." on the evening of July 28.
