CLEVELAND INDIANS – Named Willie Jenks visiting clubhouse manager, Billy Ryan area scouting supervisor for Georgia, South Carolina and North Florida, and Greg Smith Northwest area supervisor and Canadian crosschecker. Promoted Scott Barnsby to South East crosschecker.

MINNESOTA TWINS – Activated OF Shannon Stewart from the 60-day DL.

ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS – Promoted Tom Harris to executive vice president and chief financial officer and Tom Garfinkel to executive vice president of business operations.

CINCINNATI REDS – Announced OF Andy Abad, RHP Sun-Woo Kim, RHP Joe Mays, LHP Chris Michalak, C Dane Sardinha and OF Dewayne Wise have been declared free agents.

MILWAUKEE BREWERS – Agreed to terns with RHP Joe Valentine and RHP Corey Thurman on minor league contracts. Announced INF Zach Sorenson and RHP Jared Fernandez have been declared free agents.
