Is it possible that the Westmoreland County commissioners are living in a cave• We are suffering high unemployment, foreclosures and a president who knows only how to tax and spend. What happened to the casino money that was supposed to give all state property owners a tax break?

It seems $10 million to reassess Westmoreland properties is pocket change to these people "Officials prepare, but not hurrying, to reassess county," March 9 and TribLIVE.com). Get a clue!

In other matters, it comes as no surprise that the Pennsylvania State Education Association is endorsing Dan (Tax It) Onorato for governor. Just what the residents of Pennsylvania need -- a Rendell clone. The PSEA is concerned only with getting an increase in salary, nothing more.

As it stands right now, Tom Corbett is the solution to the many problems of this state created by the current administration.
