Mt. Lebanon man accused of fondling sleeping woman on plane

A Mt. Lebanon man groped a sleeping passenger during a flight from Las Vegas to Pittsburgh Thursday, according to an arrest affidavit filed by the FBI.

The FBI charged Wei-Ming Shi, 58, with unlawful sexual contact on an aircraft. The woman, who was seated next to Shi, woke up to find his hands under her dress, the affidavit said.

The woman changed seats to get away from Shi. Allegheny County police arrested Shi when he arrived at Pittsburgh International Airport, the affidavit says.

Shi admitted to police that he fondled the woman, the affidavit says. He was scheduled to make an initial appearance Friday before a U.S. magistrate judge.
