Mt. Lebanon student to travel to Germany

Noah Donald, a Mt. Lebanon High School senior, is one of 12 students nationwide to attend the Deutschland für MINTeressierte Workshop, a science and math scholarship program in Germany.

Donald will visit Berlin from Nov. 27 to Dec. 6. and will explore research institutions in the geoscience, bionics and technology fields. The trip is paid for by Germany's Foreign Office.

He was selected from more than 150 applicants to win a contest sponsored by the German government. The Goethe-Institut in Chicago, a German cultural association, selected the winners.

Donald will learn about the Rosetta mission at the German Aerospace Center in Braunschweig, and meet scientists and researchers while attending a German school.
