Mt. Oliver man shoots 2 at bar, police say

A Mt. Oliver man shot two people during a rampage inside and outside an Allentown bar, police said Saturday.

Robert Hunt, 56, walked into Longo's Bar on East Warrington Avenue about 11:30 p.m., demanded a beer, then began firing a gun, police said. Hunt is accused by police of shooting a bystander in the groin at his home and a woman in the back as she sat in her car.

Police did not identify the victims. Both were expected to recover.

Police charged Hunt with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, illegal discharge of a firearm and other charges.
