The Mill Run Senior Citizen's group will hold a salad supper at the Normalville Community Center from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $5 at the door. Everyone is welcome. The Normalville Rod and Gun Club will have a kid's day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the club pond. All children ages 11 and under are invited to fish. The Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic will hold its fourth annual walk-a-thon on Saturday. This event benefits underprivileged children. The cost for adults is $4, for children ages 4 to 12, $3, and children under age 4 eat for free. The event is sponsored by the Calvary United Methodist Church men's group. The Normalville Area Volunteer Fire Department's annual firemen's fair will be held May 31 to June 3 at the fire hall. The crowning of the queen and little miss princess contest will be May 31, Stonee Ridge Band will play June 1, Trouble Band will perform June 2. On June 3 there will be a tractor pull at 1 p.m., entertainment will be Back in Time Band in the evening and fireworks will close the fair. Rides will be provided by Fayette Amusements. Ohiopyle Bluegrass will be held at the Ohiopyle Community Center at 5 p.m. June 3. There will be music from 6 to 10 p.m. Local and regional Bluegrass Bands perform on stage in 30-minute intervals. Seating will be provided and there will be food and drink for sale. No alcohol or smoking please. Take a chance and enter the 50/50 drawing. Jamming rooms will be available for pickers to play off stage. Come enjoy a night out with the whole family.
