Much to remember

I noticed years ago that in the time since 9/11, the media have referred to the victims simply as "Americans." I believe this to be a sly attempt by Big Media to dehumanize those killed on that day by trying to apply as generic a tag as possible to them.

While it's true that the majority of the people lost in the terrorist attacks were Americans, we should not forget that there were also many people from different countries aboard those hijacked jets. Also, let us not forget that not just men and women of various cultures and nationalities were killed that day, but innocent children as well -- children whose lives were snuffed out too soon by radicals who couldn't have cared less about them.

Above all, the heinousness of the evil men who carried out those acts of hatred must be remembered, and never eradicated from the collective soul of these United States of America.
