My Chemical Romance concert cancelled Wednesday
The My Chemical Romance concert, scheduled for Wednesday at the Petersen Events Center, in Oakland, has been cancelled.
The band had to cancel a date Tuesday in Columbus because several members of the band and crew came down with food poisoning. The Columbus date was moved to Wednesday, forcing the Pittsburgh concert to be postponed.
Renee Harrison, a spokewoman for the band's record label, Warner Bros., said she was not sure of the reason for the scheduling change. She expects the Pittsburgh date to be rescheduled, but could not confirm a date or if it would definitely happen.
But a release by AEG Live, the concert's promoter, stated that there are no plans to reschedule the show, and that refunds would be available at the point of purchase.
