A new generation of von Trapps is singing "Do Re Mi" just as their great-grandparents did in Austria.

The New York Times reports that four of Baron and Maria von Trapp's great-grandchildren --Sofia, 17; Melanie, 15; Amanda, 14; and Justin, 11-- are on a tour that includes their New York debut this month at the Lamb's Theater.

The grandchildren of Werner, who was called Kurt in "The Sound of Music," travel extensively giving concerts and have recorded albums of folk melodies, Christmas classics and songs from the musical, the newspaper said.

In an phone interview with The Times, Sofia said some of her favorite things are sushi, classic rock, pumpkin pie and her Mac iBook. Asked about her real feelings about "The Lonely Goatherd", she said "Its got a cool melody and I like to yodel. Even though that sounds kind of dumb."
