New Kensington 10 Commandments rally postponed

The "Save the Stone" rally planned for Wednesday at Valley High School has been postponed.

Organizer Mike Hresko said the rally will be held at some point but school district officials requested that he move it to a future date.

Pending legal action by the Wisconsin-base atheist group opposed to the monument and the potential for thousands of ralliers were among the reasons to reschedule, said Hresko.

No date for the rally has been set.

"We'll have the rally," said Hresko. "It's important for bringing the community together."
