  • The Rural Valley Presbyterian Church will hold its annual Washington Supper on Feb. 18 serving from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The dinner includes turkey with all the trimmings. The cost is adults, $7; children 6-12, $3.50; and free to under 6. Take outs are available for a charge of 50 cents extra. To purchase tickets or for information call 724-783-6280.

  • The Worthington Little League Benefit fund raising dance will be held from 9 p.m. to midnight Feb. 8 at the Worthington American Legion. The cost is $10 per person and includes beverages and snacks. Attendees must be 21 and the event is BYOB. There will be a fund-raiser drawing held.

  • An "all you can eat" spaghetti dinner will be held at the Manorville United Methodist Church from 4 to 7 p.m. Feb. 8. The cost is adults, $4.50; children 6-12, $3.50; and free to 5 and under. The meal includes a salad with choice of dressing, Italian bread, beverage and a choice of homemade cake or pie. Take outs will be available for an extra charge of 25 cents. The proceeds go towards handicap projects. A bake sale will be sponsored by the Nuture Committee. Crafts will also be for sale. The church is located at the intersection of Mill and Water streets in Manorville.

  • An "all you can eat" Valentine's Day Italian buffet will be held Feb. 8 serving from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Belknap United Church of Christ, Dayton RD2. The cost is adults, $7; and children, $3.50. The meal features rigatoni, lasagna and spaghetti and meatballs. There will be free door prizes.

  • A spaghetti dinner will be hosted the Armstrong Community Theater at the Rayburn Township Volunteer Fire Department, Kittanning RD6 serving from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 9. The cost is adults, $6; children 3-11, $3; and free to under 3. The meal includes pasta, bread, salad, beverage and dessert. Take outs available for a charge of 50 cents extra. All proceeds will benefit funding for future shows. Tickets are being sold by board members and may be bought at the door.   • Cowansville American Legion Post 325 will hold an "all you can eat" homemade breakfast from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. Feb. 15. The cost is $4. The menu includes pancakes, buckwheat cakes, eggs, home fries, sausage, orange juice and coffee.

  • There will be a pancake and sausage dinner at the Ford Memorial United Methodist Church, 1024 Fourth Ave., Ford City from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m. Feb. 11. The cost is adults, $5 and children, $3. The building is handicap accessible. For information call 724-763-1540.

  • The Divine Redeemer School's ninth annual dinner dance will be held on Feb. 22 at the Slovak Catholic Union Club, Ford City. Tickets are available in the school office and doors open at 5 p.m. and dinner is at 6 p.m. Top prize is $1,000; total cash giveaway is $2,020. Only 250 tickets will be sold, winner need not be present. There will be door prizes given away. The cost is drawing ticket with dinner is $30 and dinner only ticket is $15. Dinner choices are stuffed chicken breast or stuffed pork chop. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Kevin Kline.

  • There will be an "all you can eat" spaghetti supper at Appleby Manor Church, Ford City serving from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Feb. 8. The cost is adults, $5; children, 6-10, $2.50; and free to children under 6. Take outs will be available. The event is sponsored by Boy Scout Troop 676.

  • A fish fry will be held at the Kittanning Township fire hall from 4 to 7 p.m. Feb. 7, Feb. 14, Feb. 21 and Feb. 28. The menu consists of a choice of fried or baked fish, chicken or shrimp dinners. The cost is adults, $5.50; children, $2.75; and take outs, $6. To order take outs, call 724-548-7290. The fire hall is located four miles east of Kittanning along Route 422.

  • Valentine bingo will be held at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 9 at the Ford Cliff fire hall at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 9. Admission is $20 and regulars are on hard back. Early birds begin at 1:15 p.m. There will be free door prizes. Kitchen opens at noon and take outs are available by calling 724-763-1591. The proceeds benefit Relay For Life.

  • An "all you can eat" breakfast will be held at the Worthington West Franklin Volunteer Fire Department from 6 to 11 a.m. Feb. 8. The cost is $4.

  • There will be an "all you can eat" breakfast served at the Center Hill Church of the Brethren Fellowship Hall from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. Menu includes pancakes, sausage, eggs, juice and coffee. Donation is $4. The event is sponsored by the Mens Fellowship.

  • The semi-annual pancake and sausage dinner and bake sale will be held Feb. 11 at Ford Memorial United Methodist Church in Ford City. The church is located at 1024 Fourth Ave. and has elevator handicapped accessibility. Lunch will be offered from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and supper from 4 to 7 p.m. The dinner price for adults is $5 and $3 for children. Both dining room service and take outs are available. Call ahead for take outs by calling the church at 724-763-1540. This event is sponsored by The United Methodist Men to support a variety of mission projects, including tuition for children's summer church camp.

    The United Methodist Women of Ford Memorial will also hold a bake sale at the pancake dinner. A variety of home-baked goods will be available. The women also support many local, national and world missions with the proceeds from this sale.
