  • He has been a deputy sheriff in Allegheny County for nearly 23 years.

  • Yee received a 2002 Law Enforcement Agency Directors award, which recognized his outstanding performance in making more than 100 warrant arrests this year while providing courtroom security and maintaining custody of prisoners at the Allegheny County Courthouse. Using painstaking investigation, research and analysis of outstanding warrants, Gee was able to collar defendants or visitors who came to court while being wanted on other warrants.

Since Sheriff Pete DeFazio took office, there have been a total of 33,831 bench, non-support and miscellaneous warrants cleared by the warrant squads."
