Occupation: President and chief executive officer of Pressley Ridge, North Side. The nonprofit organization is one of the largest providers of services for children and families in the country, with facilities in seven states, employing 1,000 teachers, counselors and support staff with an operating budget of $72 million.
Background: Finnell has more than 25 years’ experience promoting the causes of children and families. He joined Pressley Ridge in 2002 as president and CEO. He is a member of the board of directors of the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium.
Noteworthy: Elected chairman of the board of the Alliance for Children and Families, a 300-member organization based in Milwaukee. It provides services to nonprofit child and family-serving and economic empowerment organizations, which have a cumulative operating budget of $3.6 billion.
