Newsmaker: Isaac Fisher
Noteworthy: Fisher received a Fulbright U.S. Student Grant to teach English to students in South Korea. He left the U.S. in July to teach first-year high school students grammar and conversational techniques, as well as help them edit the school's first English newspaper.

Background: Fisher applied for the Fulbright last year, inspired by his world travels with the Semester at Sea program as a student at Pitt. He began taking more language classes and studying other cultures. In South Korea, Fisher lives with a host family and spends his time outside of the classroom experiencing Korean culture, and has traveled to Vietnam.
