Noteworthy: Fisher received a Fulbright U.S. Student Grant to teach English to students in South Korea. He left the U.S. in July to teach first-year high school students grammar and conversational techniques, as well as help them edit the school's first English newspaper.

Background: Fisher applied for the Fulbright last year, inspired by his world travels with the Semester at Sea program as a student at Pitt.
