Noteworthy: The Red Cross will give the Distinguished Leadership Award to Kerin at the nonprofit's annual ball March 28 in the Omni William Penn Hotel, Downtown. The award honors American Eagle Outfitters for donating more than $800,000 to the Red Cross to help relief efforts after "catastrophic disasters" such as Hurricane Katrina, a 2008 earthquake in China and hurricanes that battered the Gulf Coast region last summer.
