Occupation: Assistant professor of communication, media and technology at La Roche College.

Background: Mozisek came to La Roche as a visiting assistant professor in 2011. Her specialty is cultural studies, particularly women's sports.

Quote: “The main point of the dissertation is that culturally we accept strong female athletes when they emphasized their femininity. In doing so, there have been many advances for the female athlete. Homophobia in sports is a big problem, but unfortunately for female athletes, there is a requirement for a balance of femininity and athletic ability.”
