Noteworthy : Selected to receive the 2008 Outstanding Young Educator Award from the Pennsylvania Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. She will be recognized Nov. 23 at a conference in Hershey. Deichler will serve a one-year term as an ex-officio member of the association's board and will be recognized at the 2009 national conference in Orlando, Fla., in March. The award makes Deichler the state representative for the International Outstanding Young Educator Award.
