Background: Previously ran a research laboratory studying brain effects of psycho-stimulant narcotics such as cocaine and crystal methamphetamine at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland; ran a molecular neurobiology research lab at Yale University’s School of Medicine.
Noteworthy: Named a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the world’s largest general scientific society. She will be honored Feb. 16 during the organization’s 2008 annual meeting in Boston.
