Would someone please explain why government agencies need to advertise• For example, the Army Corps of Engineers sponsored a T-shirt giveaway at a Pirates game!

Even more egregious, our wonderful, outdated, 17th-century anachronism of "wine and spirits" distribution sees fit to advertise specials! Would someone please tell these bozos they are a monopoly • The only possible reason they would advertise is to increase sales, thereby encouraging more alcohol consumption.

Aren't these the people who claim to be the guardians against overconsumption?

Hypocrisy and run-amok spending certainly are government trademarks. When is the Legislature ever going to get rid of this stupid system?
