Indiana (Pa.) quarterback Andrew Krewatch was named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference West Offensive Player of the Week. Krewatch, a graduate of North Allegheny High School, threw two touchdown passes, including a game-winning, 20-yarder to Cameron Mobley, to help IUP defeat No. 13 Catawba, 19-16, Saturday.
Johns Hopkins junior kicker/punter Ben Scott of Shady Side Academy earned co-special teams player of the week honors in the Centennial Conference. Scott made field goals of 45, 46 and 24 yards in a 9-6 win at Carnegie Mellon to split the award with Gettysburg's Nathan Smith . Scott leads the Centennial Conference with seven field goals.
Duquesne redshirt freshman quarterback Scott Knapp of Perry earned rookie of the week honors for the third consecutive week in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, despite a 41-14 loss at Pennsylvania. Knapp threw two touchdown passes on 10 of 29 attempts.

Pitt-Johnstown has named Jamie Harless assistant men's basketball coach. Harless spent four seasons as an assistant coach to Bill Brown at California (Pa.).
The Geneva football team is 3-0 for the first time in five seasons, following a 31-3 victory over St. Francis, Ill., but the team lost two key players to injuries. Senior wide receiver Tim Sawyer broke his ankle and will miss the rest of the season and junior tailback Brandon Nathan cracked a rib and will be out indefinetely.
