Several area real estate and construction companies have added personnel.
Sales agents hired by Coldwell Banker Real Estate include Rose Mance and Diane Wroblewski in the company's North Hills office.
The duo has more than 20 years' real estate industry experience and worked as top producing agents at Northwood Realty Co. The two are active in several national and local trade organizations.
Also joining Coldwell Banker offices as sales agents are Donald Impavido in the Monroeville office and Stephen Mortan and Lori Ritz in the North Huntingdon Township office. All three are North Huntingdon residents.
Impavido is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and previously worked as a youth counselor at South West Secure Treatment Unit in Torrence. Mortan, who has a degree in electrical engineering, has worked for Compunetix for five years. Ritz is a registered nurse and has an associate's degree in mechanical design.
John Cuda of Baldwin, Margi Floss of Clairton and Tracey Khalil of Jefferson Hills joined Coldwell Banker's West Mifflin office, and the company added Stephen G. Hussar in the Route 19 south office and Patricia Paslowski of Upper St. Clair, Tulla Rakoczy of Rossyln Heights and Jean Todd of West Mifflin in the Upper St. Clair office.
Cuda has worked as a nurse at Allegheny General Hospital for 13 years; Floss has a master's degree in computer information systems; Khalil, a graduate of Robert Morris College, has managed a Value City Department Store for 17 years, and Hussar has studied engineering and computer electronics at the University of Pittsburgh.
Paslowski, a graduate of Robert Morris, has worked for a certified public accounting firm and financial investment companies for the past 35 years; Rakoczy, who earned a degree in academic science while living in Greece, also studied information science at Bidwell Training Center and Rental Property Management at Community College of Allegheny County, and Todd was marketing services manager for an office furniture company for 12 years.
Coldwell also hired Vaughn Sterling of Masontown in the Peters Township office, Sheryl Cross of Stanton Heights in the Fox Chapel office, Jane Ebner of Mars in the Butler office, Gary Swank of the North Hills and Linda Szymanski of McCandless Township in the North Hills office.
Sterling, a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania, has a master's degree in science and earth science; Cross, who has a bachelor's degree in information technology, has 15 years' experience in marketing and advertising; Ebner, who has a bachelor's degree in music therapy, practiced as a music therapist for 10 years and Szymanski, who is certified in elementary education, has taught for 22 years for the Diocese of Pittsburgh.
Coldwell also hired Butler residents Colleen Duffy , Dennis Kearns , Wanda Snyder and John Pollock Jr. for its Butler office sales staff.
Duffy, a Slippery Rock University graduate, worked in sales control of Boscovs Department Store in Butler. Kearns, who has sold real estate for more than five years, is a Grove City College graduate with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He also worked 16 years for Coors Brewing Co. and owned the Sports Channel Restaurant for three years.
Snyder has been a real estate agent for 15 years, and Pollock has six years of real estate experience. He is married to the Butler office's manager, Gloria Corsini-Pollock.
Howard Hanna Real Estate Services hired John Toth as a sales associate in the company's Washington office.
Toth of East Washington has been a licensed realtor since 1981 and worked in offices throughout Washington County, including Bennet Real Estate.
Also, Howard Hanna appointed Jean Griesmer as Hanna's career development manager. She has recruiting experience and most recently worked as a resource manager for Sullivan & Cogliano in Pittsburgh. She also worked as a technical recruiter for Sapphire Technologies and as an account executive for Arch Communications.
Griesmer, a Mt. Lebanon resident, has a bachelor's degree in rhetoric and communication studies from Kent State University.
The Massaro Co., an O'Hara Township-based construction firm, hired Brian Ross DiDiano as a project engineer, Ron Medjimorec as a utilities specialist, Annette Meyers as an office administrator and Gail Mitchell as an administrative assistant.
DiDiano, a Thiel College graduate with a bachelor's degree in environmental science, has experience in environmental consulting regarding hazardous waste abatement in the construction industry.
Meyers has 14 years' administrative experience, and Mitchell, pursuing an information management degree at Carlow College, has more than nine years of administrative experience.
Massaro also hired Martha Graham and Dawn Roerink as sales and leasing associates and Lois Jean Foster as an administrative assistant.
Graham is a Point Park College graduate with a bachelor's degree in business management.
Roerink is a LaRoche College graduate with a bachelor's degree in business administration and management.
Foster brings 30 years of experience to Massaro.
Carl H. Griffith Jr. of Moon Township was the winner of the 2001 Pennsylvania Association of Realtors' Distinguished Service Award. Griffith works at Prudential Preferred Realty.
