• The Butler Outdoor Club will host its 14th annual dinner Nov. 15 at the East Butler fire hall, 808 Grant Ave., East Butler. Silent auction will be 5 to 7:30 p.m. A stuffed chicken breast dinner will be served at 7 p.m. There will be door prizes, 50/50 raffle, an outdoor store, and club displays. The event is open to the public. Katy and Mark Frey will make a presentation on their hike of the Appalachian Trail. The cost is $15 for adults and $6 for children younger than 6. Fishing report
• At Keystone Lake in Armstrong County, a pair of anglers tossing jointed Rapalas landed a purebred muskie stretching just more than 40 inches and a tiger musky that was just more than 39 inches.
• On the Beaver River, anglers fishing early in the morning and around dusk are picking up some big walleyes and nice catfish, according to a Fish and Boat Commission report.
• Virtually no one has been fishing Acme Dam or Kooser Lake, said John Dressler of Red's Bait Shop in Acme.
• Upper and Lower Twin Lakes were stocked with trout this week by Twin Lakes Fishing Associaiton, and anglers are targeting the lake with maggots, minnows and wax worms, said Martha Martino of Jimmy's Sport Shop in South Greensburg.
• The Allegheny River near Kittanning is producing legal walleyes for those fishing with minnows and shiners, said Mark Transue of Transue's Bait Shop in Kittanning.
• The Monongahela River is in good shape around West Elizabeth, but few people are fishing it, said D.R. Plants of Shadlure.
• Anglers fishing Lower Hereford Manor Lake in the evening are catching some crappies and largemouth bass.
• The Fish and Boat Commission stocked Dunlap Creek Lake last week, and anglers using spinners are getting limits of trout, said Al Packan of Cap'n Al's Bait Shop near Uniontown.
• At Crooked Creek Lake, the crappie fishing has picked up for those fishing small fatheads.
• The portion of the Ohio River around the Back Channel Dam is giving up walleyes in the 22- to 20-inch class for fishermen tossing shiners in the evening, said Wayne Lykens of Island Firearms of Neville Island. A few white bass also are being caught on Twister Tails.
• At Paymatuning Lake, anglers are getting a few walleyes fishing around the causeway and under bridges, said Patti Poff of Poff's Place in Espyville. Minnows fished under a jig have been the best bait.
• The trout fishing on Buffalo Creek, which had been good earlier in the month, has slowed as the water level has dropped.
• The steelhead streams in Erie are generally still running low and clear, according to reports from the area. Still, anglers are taking limits of fish by using light line and small baits, like single eggs.
