Sen. Barbara Boxer of California recently repeated the myth that there is no use drilling in Alaska's Arctic National Wildlife Refuge because there is only a six month supply of oil there.

She neglected to add that there would only be a six month supply if we didn't use oil from any other source.

This same argument was used against drilling at Alaska's North Slope, which has supplied 9 percent of our oil needs for 24 years.
