Open letter to a thief |

This letter is to the person who took the money from my wallet, which was found at Community Market in Harrison on Nov. 10.

I am a 67-year-old widow who lives on a very small income and the money you took was all I had to live on for the rest of the month.

I guess I should be happy that you didn’t throw away my food stamp card or my food bank card. They were of no use to you since you need a PIN to access them or you probably would have ripped them off, too.

You are a very poor example of a human being and you should be ashamed of yourself. I needed that money and I am so angry that you felt like stealing it from me.

I struggle just like a lot of other people but, no matter how bad things get, I would never steal from anyone.

You are such a jerk. I don’t even get the newspaper because I can’t afford it. I just hope you do and I hope you see this letter.
