Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey will not be spending any more time on the 164-acre Indiana farm that served as her weekend refuge for 16 years.
Winfrey reportedly is selling the farm in Rolling Prairie, Ind., to Chicago developer Fred Latsko for an undisclosed price, Chicago Sun-Times gossip columnist Bill Zwecker said.
The Winfrey property had been listed for $8.5 million in August 2003 but the price was later dropped to $6.9 million.
The LaPorte County farm includes a 9,700-square-foot main residence, a smaller guest house, a swimming pool, stables and an orchard. Latsko said he had no intention of subdividing and developing the property for resale.
Oprah now spends her free time at her $50 million seaside estate in Montecito, Calif., near Santa Barbara.
