  • Clairton Sportsmen's Club's summer skeet league runs from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesdays and 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesdays. Trap and skeet practice is Fridays from 6 to 10 p.m., and 3-D archery shoots are held at 5 p.m. every Wednesday.

  • Slippery Rock Sportsmen's Club will host a 30-target 3-D archery shoot today, with sign-ups from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $7 for adults, $3 for those ages 12 and younger. Refreshments will be available. Call 724-794-4333.

    FISHING TOURNAMENTS

  • The fourth annual Lake Arthur Bass Buddy Tournament in Memory of Past Fishermen and Fisherwomen will be held at Moraine State Park from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 17. Cash registrations will be taken at the launch site on tournament day or at Bob Warren Boat Sales. First prize is $1,000. Weigh-ins will be at Marina Restaurant beginning at 3 p.m. Call 724-679-3352.
