Pittsburgh firefighters kept an overnight fire in an East Liberty store from spreading to neighboring businesses.

The fire began about 12:30 a.m. inside a store on Penn Avenue near the corner of South Whitfield Street, said Pittsburgh fire Battalion Chief Tim Kopicko. Kopicko didn't know the name of the business.

No injuries were reported.

Kopicko said the fire burned most of the store's contents and the ceiling and interior walls. He didn't know what caused the fire.
