Members of the Syndicate of Mexican Oil Workers marched Monday in Mexico City, demanding a salary raise of 4.5 percent, according to labor leaders.
The employees of the state oil monopoly Petroleos Mexicanos, or Pemex, were demanding an increase in their wages they say they should have been paid Aug. 14 under terms of their contract.
